Safe in case of falls

Playgrounds must be safe. Children should be able to trust in this so as to enjoy games and facilities. Parents and childminders should be able to trust in this in order to let children play outside without being concerned. Using artificial turf as surface will not avoid falls or injuries in children but it will substantially soften the fall, especially when compared to hard surfaces such as tiles and concrete.

ColorGrass features maximum protection. Artificial turf is not only manufactured with TenCate high quality fibres with a high “caressing factor”, but safety in case of falls in C&F Design products has been fully tested. Combination with the Safety Shockpad – shock absorber layer – results in a high HIC* value. This value makes ColorGrass the officially appropriate surface for playgrounds with fall heights of up to 3 meters.
